Curriculum
We pull from many sources to find the best mix of curriculum to fit each classroom.
We listen. Our parents and students get to tell us what is working and what isn't working. We don't believe in cookie-cutter learning. We believe each student should excel in academics at their pace while we set aside dedicated time to form a relationship with God through the bible, theology, prayer, and worship.
We don't believe in homework. There is plenty of time each day for a student to master their education. If a student wants to get ahead, they are encouraged (not required) to do so. In fact, we believe students should begin to achieve college class credits as soon as they are able.
Our curriculum blends various methods (known as "Eclectic" style, borrowing from Charlotte Mason, Unit Studies, and Traditional), which allows us to to adapt to the needs of children while keeping them progressing academically. Each child's learning path is individual, so we start them with their peers, but at their learning level allowing them to achieve more and ensuring any gaps are closed.
